Hi everyone! Happy Tuesday!
Welcome to the first day of MFTeasers for the March release! Like every month, we have a fabulous release in store for you, and we are kicking things off with the latest offering from Lisa Johnson Designs...Pretty Posies! LOVE this new set, and the coordinating Poppies and Leaves Die-Namics. Swoon!
This set is SO gorgeous and versatile, and I have two cards to share with you today. For my first card I started by cutting two Sweet Tooth panels with the Oval STAX 1 Die-Namics and Oval Stax 2 Die-Namics. I stamped the stems with Jellybean Green, and then I cut out the poppies and leaves with the Poppies and Leaves Die-Namics, and stamped them in Wild Cherry Ink and Jelly Bean Green Ink.
I popped up the poppies and leaves with Jody Boosters, and I added black pearls in the center of the flowers. I just LOVE these flowers!
On the Sweet Tooth background panel, I stamped the script stamp in Kraft Ink, and then added the ovals on top. I cut a Kraft panel with the First Place Award Ribbon Die-Namics and stamped "thank you" from this fabulous new set. I LOVE the fonts in this set. I added a Black Licorice Button tied with Hemp Cord.
On the inside, I stamped another sentiment from this set, "a poppy in the hand is a smile in the heart". Love that.
Here are the MFT products I've used on this card:
InLinkz.com
For my next card, I stayed with the same Sweet Tooth, Kraft, Black Licorice combo. This time, I stamped the flowers in Wild Cherry Ink onto a Kraft panel, and then cut it apart, attaching it with Jody Boosters, and leaving a space for the sentiment.
Don't you love the mix of fonts? Totally makes me happy. I stamped the sentiment onto the Sweet Tooth panel, and added a Black Licorice Button tied with Hemp Cord.
On the inside, I stamped more poppies and another sentiment, "Thinking Of You".
